Grasmere Primary School is located 15 kilometres north of Warrnambool and is in a picturesque location in the southwest. Our school community is growing and have 107 students enrolled in 2018. The students are educated in a vibrant, challenging and positive atmosphere where each child is taught and encouraged to use their character strengths to enhance wellbeing, overcome challenges and nurture positive relationships.  We have strong links to the community and value the importance of family at the heart of education. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum program with a strong commitment to the teaching and learning of literacy and numeracy along with specialist programs such as music and art, LOTE, an environmentally focused kitchen garden program and the regular focus on inquiry and science. We pride ourselves on our targeted teaching practices where students are supported and challenged to be active, curious learners.

The school focuses heavily on the development of strong skills in both Literacy and Numeracy, and in it's journey to continually improve, Grasmere has implemented the Big 6 in Reading and VCOP in Writing. In 2018, Grasmere Primary SChool firmly believes in the impact of wellbeing in education and staff have embraced the Positive Education philosophy to provide key language, knowledge and skills to empower our students to enable learning to flourish.
